Destaco Receives Automotive Award

Destaco (Auburn Hills, MI) has been awarded the 2018 Outstanding Workholding & Automation Equipment Suppliers Award in the automotive Industry. The award was presented at the recent Global Automotive Industry 4.0 Summit 2018, which took place in Shanghai, China. This prestigious award recognizes the outstanding performance, reputation and quality of their workholding and automation solutions in the automotive industry. They earned the award after a review by an expert committee that weighed their capabilities against those of the other entrants. Specifically, they were recognized for their ability to help manufacturers improve precision and productivity through one of the industry’s most comprehensive workholding and automation product lines, which includes end effectors, grippers, indexers, manual and power clamps, and remote handling.

The activity at the Suzhou facility involves the manufacture and assembly of power clamp and end effector products.
