Booth N-236246: The durable, lightweight Pryor PortaDot 130-30 from Dapra is a fully programmable, portable dot peen direct part marking system that is ideal for accurately marking text, symbols and Data Matrix codes on large, heavy or immobile parts or components that cannot be easily marked at a fixed station. This hand-held system can be used by anyone in manufacturing environment, replaces hand stamping and reduces marking-related injuries.
Booth N-236246: Fiber laser part marking systems from Dapra include turnkey Class 1 workstations with safety enclosures to open-style Class 4 configurations and fully integrated systems that offer fast cycle times and precise, repeatable, high-contrast marking of metals (hardened and stainless steel, anodized aluminum, copper, precious metals), plastics and more.
Booth N-236246: High speed, pneumatically-actuated direct part marking systems from Dapra create deeper marks on all types of metals (including hard metals), plastics and wood than electrical solenoid systems. They additionally provide better definition when marking logos and graphics thanks to their high frequency operation.

In Booth N-236246, Dapra Marking Systems (Bloomfield, CT) will display fiber laser part marking systems – from turnkey Class 1 workstations with safety enclosures to open-style Class 4 configurations and fully integrated systems – that offer fast cycle times and precise, repeatable, high-contrast marking of metals (hardened and stainless steel, anodized aluminum, copper, precious metals), plastics and more. This flexible core of system offerings can be tailored to a user’s individual application requirements quickly and cost effectively. These laser systems feature:

  • Industrial fiber and DPSS laser sources from 3 W to 100 W, with choice of lens and power source.
  • Manual and power programmable Z-axis options with 12 in of standard travel; custom travel lengths available.
  • Optional rotary D-axis for marking round parts up to 22 lb (standard).
  • Industrial fume extractors.
  • Powerful, intuitive software for easy logo import, serialization, date coding, Data Matrix codes, UID and UDI syntax, and much more.

Also on display will be pneumatic systems for deeper, faster, more detailed part marking. High speed, pneumatically-actuated direct part marking systems create deeper marks on all types of metals (including hard metals), plastics and wood than electrical solenoid systems. They additionally provide better definition when marking logos and graphics thanks to their high frequency operation. A full line of bench-mounted, portable hand-held and integrated pneumatic marking systems from Sitel MK3 is available. These dot peen/vibropeen marking systems are constructed from heavy duty components to stand up to the harshest industrial conditions. Mark variable alphanumeric text, serial numbers, date and time, logos, drawings, Data Matrix codes and more on both flat and curved surfaces, faster than ever before. Many models feature robust, reliable, integrated touch-screen controls, and all ship with easy-to-use software.

Also on display will be hand-held direct part marking systems with easy bench-mount options. The Pryor PortaDot 130-30 is a fully programmable, portable dot peen direct part marking system that is ideal for accurately marking text, symbols and Data Matrix codes on large, heavy or immobile parts or components that cannot be easily marked at a fixed station. A durable, lightweight design allows this hand-held system to be used by anyone in a manufacturing environment. It is an ideal replacement for hand stamping and reduces marking-related injuries. A mounting column is available to utilize the system for precise bench-top marking, with easy changeover between configurations:

  • 130 mm x 30 mm marking window (50 mm x 25 mm and 100 mm x 75 mm models also available).
  • Self-contained and fully programmable with large storage capacity; no external PC required.
  • 4000 series controller features a full-color, resistive, industrial-grade touch-screen; USB keyboard can be connected; USB memory stick interface to transfer layouts, configuration, firmware and other data and logo files.
  • Integrated lighting and motion sensor.
  • Intuitive software for automatic serialization and variable data insertion, time/date/shift codes and part counters.
  • Battery power option.

Dapra can provide custom-engineered locating fixtures, industrial transport carts and more to maximize the system’s versatility.
