FANUC Awards Wauseon Machine and Manufacturing

Executives from Wauseon Machine and Manufacturing (WMM; Wauseon, OH) recently attended the FANUC Authorized System Integrator conference, where they were recognized for their outstanding achievements during the 2017 calendar year. Their team received two of the three awards presented, including the Sales Leadership Award and the Excellence in Intelligent Robotics Award. The Sales Leadership Award is presented to integrators who purchase and integrate at least 25 robot units during the year. The company has received this award multiple years in a row, but 2017 marks a new achievement for them as the company received a High Honors designation. Out of nearly 800 integrators in the network, their company was one of 12 to receive this prestigious designation for integrating more than 50 units.

The Excellence in Intelligent Robotics Award is presented to integrators based on the use of their intelligent products, which enable robots to have sight and touch capabilities (e.g., FANUC Force Sensors, iRVision, and 3D Area Sensors). They were presented this award for integrating nearly 40 percent of the company’s systems with intelligent products. “Our drive to continue servicing customers beyond their expectations is what fuels our desire to take on and solve new challenges that our customers face,” remarked Tom Stocker, the business development manager of robotics and automation at WMM. “Their quality, innovative products allow us to do this to the best of our ability. We look forward to a continued partnership and will continue integrating new robots to better serve our customers’ needs for innovative products.”
