Amada Miyachi America (Monrovia, CA), a leading manufacturer of resistance welding, laser welding, marking, cutting, and micro machining equipment and systems, announces the appointment of Kurt A. Tolliver as the vice president of sales.  A Twenty-year veteran of the company, he previously managed their Southern U.S., Mexico, Central America, and European sales networks.  In his new role, he will oversee worldwide sales of all company products, including resistance welding, laser welding, laser marking and micromachining, hermetic sealing, hot bar bonding and advanced manufacturing systems. Tolliver replaces James E. Malloy, who is retiring after serving in the position for twenty-five years.

“I am extremely excited to take over the head sales role and look forward to working with our experienced team to further promote the best material joining and systems in the industry,” stated Tolliver. “After working with and observing sales legend Jim Malloy, for the past 20 years, it is an honor to be selected to replace him.”

“Kurt’s outstanding record of success in creating effective sales organizations and driving sales growth makes him a tremendous asset as our new sales leader,” stated David Fawcett, the group president and chief executive officer of Amada Miyachi America, and Amada Miyachi Europe. “As we continue to develop innovative new products to meet the demands of modern industrial customers worldwide, Kurt will lead our global sales networks and provide the best possible support to customers around the world.”
