Techniks Industries (Indianapolis, IN), a subsidiary of Audax Private Equity (Audax; Boston, MA), has announced their rebranding to Frontline Tooling Solutions. Headquartered in Indianapolis, this newly formed organization serves as the parent for their two independent platform companies: Techniks Tool Group (TTG), a leading provider of toolholders, workholding and other machine tool accessories, and NAPGladu (Jasper, IN), a leading cutting tools service and systems provider to the secondary wood, composite, and other industries. Prior to this rebranding, TTG was formed when Techniks combined with Parlec through the acquisition of Parlec in April 2017. TTG will focus on new product development, new market entry, and complementary acquisitions to drive a (spindle to cutting tool) strategy.
“We are excited to announce this launch, which represents two leading businesses in the metal tools and wood and composite-cutting markets,” said Vern Cameron, the chief executive officer of Frontline Tooling Solutions. “Through TTG, we offer the broadest selection of toolholders and machine tool accessories in the marketplace, with the same commitment to quality, durability, precision, and customer service that our customers have become accustomed to receiving. Our NAPGladu family of companies represent a full suite of leading cutting tool solutions in North America, including nationwide service in the U.S. and Canada and customized engineering and manufacturing of high quality tools.”
