MSC Software Partners with Samara National Research University

They are creating a Competence Center at the university to solve engineering challenges and demonstrate systems to industrial companies in the region.

Samara National Research University (Samara, Russia) and MSC Software Corporation (Newport Beach, CA) have entered into a partnership to create a Competence Center at the university´s Institute of Engine and Power Plant Engineering that will allow Samara University to solve engineering challenges and demonstrate the systems to the industrial enterprises of the region.

Samara University has chosen to employ these software platforms for the technical preparation of production: MSC Apex, a unified CAE environment for virtual product development, and the MSC Simufact portfolio for manufacturing simulation, including Simufact Forming, Simufact Welding, and Simufact Additive to better prepare students who are starting their careers.
