High performance light sources from nLIGHT, Inc. (Vancouver, WA) are now available with CL 900 series fiber laser cutting systems from Cincinnati Incorporated (CI; Harrison, OH) to provide job shops and OEMs with the ability to cut reflective “red” metals. The 8 kW nLIGHT alta fiber laser powers an array of industrial cutting applications. Proprietary back reflection technology allows cutting of even the most reflective metals, including polished stainless, aluminum, brass and copper, at full power and stability.
