ESAB Welding & Cutting Products (Florence, SC) has launched Burn and Earn, an ongoing customer rewards program that enables purchasers of select products to receive cash rebates or free products that compliment their purchase. In addition, they have launched an updated “Where To Buy” online function that enables site visitors to select products and purchase from a distributor of their choice either online or in-store.
Valid in the U.S. and Canada, the Burn and Earn special offers for Q1 2018 include $200 cash back on Rebel EMP 235ic and Rebel EM 215ic, $100 cash back or a free foot control for TIG welding with Rebel EMP 215ic and $100 cash back on the Thermal Dynamics® Cutmaster® 60i. Claims submission deadline is 15 days following the end of the quarter (e.g., Q1 reward claims must be submitted by April 15, 2018). To claim their reward, purchasers will need the sales receipt showing a purchase made within the valid offer dates, the serial number of the product purchased and the offer code (available online and on promotional materials).
“The new Burn and Earn Rewards Program and associated Reward Center for tracking and monitoring reward status provide an empowering user experience,” says Anthony Avila, the senior director of channel marketing at ESAB. “For example, the Burn and Earn program provides cash back rebates in the form of a prepaid Visa card, making it convenient to spend reward cash.” Avila emphasizes that Burn and Earn is an enduring rewards program and that ESAB will post new product and reward offers every quarter throughout 2018 and beyond.
The Where To Buy function also enhances the user purchase experience. For select products sold through distribution, online visitors have their choice to buy local or online. After choosing a product and clicking on the Where To Buy button, the site generates a list of welding supply distributors who stock and sell the product. Purchasers select the distributor of their choice and can then complete the sales transaction either in-store or online. “Our new program combines the convenience of online shopping while recognizing the importance of our channel partners,” notes Avila.
