Nearly 100 lb lighter and delivering up to 85 amps more power compared to the leading competitive machine, the Thunderbolt 210 stick welding power source from Miller Electric is easier to carry and store and can weld thicker materials – up to 5/32 in mild steel – for a variety of light industrial applications.

Miller Electric Mfg. Co. (Appleton, WI) offers two new additions to their Thunderbolt lineup of stick welding power sources: the Thunderbolt 160 and Thunderbolt 210 offer power and lightweight portability for a variety of light industrial applications, including garage and job shops, farm and ranch, maintenance repair and light production line work. These machines are nearly 100 lb lighter than the leading competitive machine, weighing just 15 lb and 15.5 lb, making them easier to carry and store. Operators can work smarter, not harder, by bringing the welder to the work. The Thunderbolt 160 and 210 also have up to 85 more amps of power compared to the leading competitive machine, so operators can weld thicker materials – up to 5/32 in mild steel.

Equipped with Hot Start™ technology to provide easy, quick and reliable arc starts, these machines deliver precise, accurate and infinite amperage control and heat output. The Thunderbolt 160 model also features dual voltage with the multi-voltage plug (MVP™), allowing for connection to 120- or 240-volt receptacles — without the need for tools. Operators can simply choose the plug that fits the receptacle and connect it to the power cord.
