Cincinnati Incorporated (CI; Harrison, OH) has named ProNest as a preferred partner and the newest member of their Gold Partner Program. ProNest CAD/CAM nesting software from Hypertherm Inc. (Hanover, NH) is designed for advanced laser cutting to help fabricators and manufacturers increase material savings, boost productivity, lower operating costs and improve part quality. “ProNest is a great complement to our CO2 and fiber laser cutting systems,” said Rakesh Kumar, the vice president of sales and service at Cincinnati Incorporated. “Like us, Hypertherm is a U.S.-based company and they have an excellent reputation going back 50 years. They are a natural fit for our Gold Partner Program and their software has been proven with our cutting systems to achieve excellent results, and provides seamless communication and optimization with our laser.”
The Gold Partner Program provides metal fabrication customers with expanded options for software systems that have been validated and tested to work with Cincinnati machines and systems. These software systems, when purchased with new Cincinnati equipment, also integrate many other brands of CNC machinery, providing a wide-reaching upgrade of shop floor operations and facilitating efficient production. “Through this program, customers will have more software choices for programming our new machines, as well as programming their existing CNC equipment from the same software platform,” explained Mark Watson, a senior product specialist at Cincinnati Incorporated and the director of the Gold Partner Program. “Customers want the latest tech solutions to drive all of their CNC equipment, not only their latest purchase. The collaboration inherent in this program fosters cooperative partnerships between CI, third-party suppliers, and ultimately our customers.”
The program started with two other software providers, SigmaTEK Systems, LLC (Cincinnati, OH) and Metamation, Inc. (Rolling Meadows, IL), and the application process is now open to any vendor interested in the Gold Partner status. CI supports their preferred partners via the company’s marketing activities – including joint marketing, dedicated areas on their website (www.e-ci.com) and collateral materials. Gold Partners also have access to Cincinnati’s showroom for product testing, as well as development support and inclusion in product review meetings. Suppliers become Gold Partners by meeting the program requirements and receiving formal approval from a CI product manager. “We believe this partnership program will provide our mutual customers with the productivity tools necessary to confidently enter the new age of Direct Digital Manufacturing,” added Watson.
