Kitagawa-NorthTech, Inc. (Schaumburg, IL) announced that they have moved their website name and domain from kitagawa.com to kitagawa.us. This manufacturer of chucks, steady rests and custom workholding also provides repair/rebuild services to machine shops, metalworking customers and OEM machine tool customers in North America. Parent company Kitagawa Iron Works Co., Ltd. (Hiroshima, Japan) will assume the use of the .com domain address for a future global website to be announced later this year. The decision to move the web domain is to globally align and clarify product offerings and solutions from their subsidiaries and entities serving local customers in the appropriate regions around the world.
“This new website is not only a refresh of our brand and product content, but it more accurately presents the breadth of our workholding offering, services and capabilities for our customers in North America,” said Kevin Bennett, the vice president of sales and marketing at Kitagawa-NorthTech. “While our heritage remains in standard and advanced chucks, we have been providing custom engineered workholding, repair services and turning and grinding steady rests for over a decade to our customers throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.”
