As part of a major building renovation to better support customers in North America, Dengensha America Corporation (Bedford, OH) recently opened a new Resistance Welding Test Lab and Training Center in their Bedford headquarters. Among many new capabilities, this new facility enables their engineers to better analyze specific customer application requirements to better determine best parameters for more customized equipment.
The new site already features expanded test capabilities for much of their major resistance welding equipment, including the Flexwave Capacitor Discharge Welder, the NDZ-CDW Variable-Output Capacitor Discharge Welder, the MFDC Welder, the AC Welder with Feeder, and the new Lightweight High Force Reduction Gear X-Gun installed on a FANUC Robot. In addition, the Test Lab and Training Center offers a “push-out” test capability to confirm weld strength after testing, as well as a hot stamp and aluminum application testing capability that is proving to be extremely popular with customers.
“After the recent opening of this site, we’re now fully operational, receiving plenty of customer interest, and already getting new testing requests,” said Don Grisez, the chief operating officer of Dengensha America. “Consequently, we have already expanded our list of test capabilities.”
