Vero Software Hires New Outside Sales Manager

Vero Software (Cheltenham, UK) hired Bill Horvat as a new outside sales account manager to represent their Surfcam and Edgecam brands. Based in Delavan, WI, and having worked for former Surfcam reseller Programming Plus, Inc., Horvat is well acquainted with Vero applications and the ever-evolving needs of their customers. “I’ve worked with Surfcam for well over 20 years,” said Horvat, who has accrued a wealth of experience with CNC software and machinery. “I started right out of high school running machines when I was 17, and have been working with CNC machines all my adult life.”

He began his career with a machine tool supplier in his early 20s and traveled extensively for four years until he settled down to work as a programmer, set-up technician and operator for CNC mills and lathes. His experience with CNC software and machinery led to a long-term position with Programming Plus. “I started my career there in technical support and training on Surfcam and other software, and eventually moved in to a sales position where I stayed through my tenure, performing software demonstrations and sales functions,” recalled Horvat. “I will always be appreciative and grateful for the friendship and family environment of working for Programming Plus, and I look forward to enjoying the same working here.”
