Ideal for the direct marking of logos, test symbols and data matrix codes on large, unmovable parts, the portable MARKATOR FlyMarker mini marking system from Rocklin Manufacturing is a lightweight, handheld dot peen marker that can quickly and easily mark several materials with a hardness up to 63 HRC. Housed inside break-resistant glass fiber-reinforced plastic, it can be easily carried throughout different areas of a shop, used between separate factories or at a construction site.
The battery-operated handheld MARKATOR FlyMarker mini marking system from Rocklin Manufacturing is a lightweight dot peen marker that is ideal for durable, nonstop markings of big, unmovable parts of several materials with a hardness up to 63 HRC. An integrated barcode scanner on the front face of the marking unit can quickly scan 1D and 2D barcodes, QR-codes and more, then the content can be marked in characters directly on a part. The mobile marking unit can also be placed inside a column frame and fixed with a clamping lever for easy marking of small parts or type plates. (first view)

The battery-operated handheld MARKATOR® FlyMarker® mini marking system from Rocklin Manufacturing Company (Sioux City, IA) is a lightweight dot peen marker with only 2.7 kg and a compact design that is mainly suitable for durable markings of big, unmovable workpieces directly onsite. This portable marking system is suitable to mark several materials with a hardness up to 63 HRC. A quick and reliable technology with easy operation characterize this battery-operated marking unit, which uses two Lithium-Ion-Batteries that are integrated in the standard scope of supply for nonstop marking. An optional, powerful 5.2 Ah rechargeable battery is also available to provide a working period that is three times longer. The housing consists of glass fiber-reinforced plastic that is break-resistant. Besides characters and numbers, it is also possible to mark logos, test symbols and data matrix codes.

Using an integrated barcode scanner in the latest version of the FlyMarker mini, it is possible to scan 1D and 2D codes (barcodes, QR-codes, etc.) without any external accessories. The scanner is integrated directly on the front face of the marking unit so that barcodes can be scanned quickly and the content can then be marked in characters directly on a workpiece. This mobile marking unit can easily be placed inside an optional column frame and fixed with a clamping lever for very easy marking of small parts or type plates. Smooth-running linear guides allow a quick adjustment of the marking pin distance, and the marking can be started directly. A T-slot base plate of the column frame makes it possible to mount the optional available MARKATOR type plate, as well as individual plates that are produced by the user to position the workpieces that need to be marked.

A practical carrying case contains all of the system components for transportation to another area of the shop, another factory or a construction site. Depending on the material and application requirements, the marking force and marking depth of the handheld system can be adjusted individually. The clearly designed software is easy to understand for intuitive operation of the marking system. Using the latest processor technologies, fast navigation and quick access times to the marking files is possible. Several hundred marking files, fonts and logos can be stored and administered in the internal memory of the marking unit in many languages.
