Radix Inc. (Windsor, ON) is pleased to announce the acquisition of technology and talent from +ADD (Automated Detection Devices; Mississauga, ON), a vision system integrator. In addition to adding the outstanding technical skills, industry knowledge and creativity of Josh Capogna and the +ADD group, this acquisition provides Radix with a larger presence in the Toronto market, as well as with key products and services for the specialized pharmaceutical, medical device and aerospace sectors.
Technologies developed by +ADD that have been acquired include advanced surface inspections, 3D scanning and specialized vision solutions for material handling applications. +ADD is a Cognex Partner System Integrator and Microscan Integrator, which dovetails well with Radix’s acknowledged expertise as an Automated Imaging Association Certified System Integrator status.
Radix designs and delivers intelligent manufacturing technology systems for major North American automotive manufacturers, as well as pharmaceutical, food/beverage, and aerospace manufacturers. These include vision systems, robotics, automation and software. They have locations in Windsor; Trenton, MI; and Montreal, QC.
