In Booth C40315, DT Engineering (formerly Detroit Tool and Engineering; Lebanon, MO) will be highlighting their factory automation systems and tool and die systems. Since 1933, they have brought concepts to life through automation, tools and dies designed to meet user needs. With over 230,000 sq ft inside a fully integrated manufacturing facility, they design and build stand-alone cells and completely integrated systems, tools, dies and fixtures, working with users to maximize their return on investment. Through the years, they have helped customers meet their production requirements in markets ranging from white goods, HVAC, electronics, medical devices, paper products, pharmaceutical, automotive, agriculture, aerospace and general industrial.
DT Engineering has built welding systems, flexible automation, synchronous and non-synchronous assembly systems, dial type, in-line, carousel and forming/joining assembly and fabrication systems.
The former Mid-West Automation that was previously located in Buffalo Grove, IL, was also consolidated under DT Engineering and they now own and market proprietary technology which Mid-West used to provide their customers. They are also a worldwide leader in the design and production of stamping dies, including Class A/B dies, draw dies, single hit dies, trim dies, transfer dies, form dies, progressive dies and cam dies. These capabilities will also be on display. This full service, fully integrated engineering and manufacturing company was acquired in 2016 by Jim Sheldon, a previous president of Detroit Tool and Engineering, and continues to serve many Fortune 500 and mid-size companies.
