Caron Engineering, Inc. (Wells ME) is celebrating their 30th year in business with big growth in sales, employees, and now, a new (much larger) building. Owners Rob Caron (their chief executive officer and company president) and Carolyn Caron-Stratos (their vice president), closed the deal on the land in July and celebrated by breaking ground at the new
site.
The company develops retrofit systems to enhance the performance and productivity of
machine tools for the manufacturing industry. In an era where users are embracing new
cost-saving technologies and automation solutions, Caron Engineering has consequently
experienced significant growth in the past few years. This growth has naturally uncovered the
need for a larger space. Their new 12,000 sq ft facility will sit on a 16 acre lot, just a mile off the Atlantic coastline in Wells. The building will accommodate workspace for both current and future employees, and feature an expanded showroom and customer training capacities. The move is scheduled for early Spring of 2018.
