Motorized Rotary Stage Moves 2D Measurements to Full 360 Degrees

The large CoreX2 Field of View system from OASIS can measure multiple dimensions on a part to an accuracy of up to ±.0002 in and, with the addition of the new Motorized Rotary Stage, can rotate parts a full 360 deg to get profile images and measurements from every aspect of the part.

Booth 519: By adding this Rotary Stage to the CoreX2 Field of View measurement system from OASIS, inspectors can rotate parts a full 360 deg to measure multiple dimensions in real time to an accuracy of up to ±.0002 in to get profile images and measurements from every aspect. At the end of the cycle, the system displays the actual measurements of Minimum, Average, Maximum, and Range for every dimension. A single click saves all of the data on the system. (first view)

In Booth 519, OASIS Inspection Systems (Middletown, DE) will display the CoreX2, their largest Field of View system that can measure multiple dimensions on a part to an accuracy of up to ±.0002 in and, with the addition of the new Motorized Rotary Stage, can rotate parts a full 360 deg to get profile images and measurements from every aspect of the part. All dimensions are taken in real time as the part rotates in the field of view. Within the OASIS part program, the user defines how many rotations for the Rotary Stage to make and how many times to measure the part while it is rotating. Once the cycle is complete, the system displays the actual measurements of Minimum, Average, Maximum, and Range for every dimension. A single click saves all of the data on the system.

By adding the Rotary Stage to the CoreX2, inspectors can insure that their parts are within specification limits all the way around without manually turning the part. In addition, rotating the part adds the ability to check additional features, such as roundness and concentricity. All of this data is recorded to the built-in OASIS Inspection Report or can be automatically exported to any SPC program.
