In Booth 834, Meyer Gage Company, Inc. (South Windsor, CT) a manufacturer of fixed limit gages, will display affordable pin gage sets in Minus (-.0001 in / +.0000 in) that come packaged with box and insert clearly marked. They are used to measure hole sizes, calculate distances between holes, gage slot widths and can also be used for Go or No-Go gaging. They are one-half the deviation of the ZZ for a better fit. (Note that diameters above .8250 in tolerance increases; see gage makers tolerance chart). These pin gage sets can be used for precision Go/No-Go measuring of hole sizes and depths, checking hole location and distance, and setting micrometers. All gages are uniformly 2 in long with ground ends, allowing the use of both ends for increased gage life. These gages are made of carbon chrome alloy steel (grade E52100 bearing quality steel) and heat treated to 60-62 Rockwell C hardness.

All Meyer Gage products come with a Certificate of Class Conformance, traceable to NIST (National Institute for Standards Technology). The size and “+” (GO) or “-” (NOGO) are laser etched with an Exclusive Serial Number feature to ensure traceability on the shop floor on all gages that are .061 in and larger. Founded in 1960, Meyer Gage is an ISO 9001:2008-approved manufacturer, and all products pass through their ISO /IEC 17025:2005 approved laboratory for final inspection.
