In Booth 5721, Advanced Machine & Engineering (AME; Rockford, IL) is a proud North American partner of unique Tibo Deep Hole Drilling Systems that consist of modular system components that are configured for individually desired machine types according to user requirements: from single-spindle gundrilling or BTA deep hole drilling machine configurations for standard applications to highly complex special machines with up to 12 spindles. Limitless configuration possibilities, from universal standard machine to highly specific special machines. Tibo deep hole drilling machines allow high precision drilling operations without runout in alloys that is typical in applications such as nickel steels. They come with additional features specifically developed for the task, such as chip breakage monitoring for reliable cutting, which is integrated as standard. Machine types include:
- Gundrilling machines that are ideally suited to deep hole drilling applications with smaller drilling diameters of 2 mm to 40 mm.
- BTA deep hole drilling machines that provide the optimum method for larger drill diameters of 18 mm to 250 mm solid drilling and drill depths of up to 12,000 mm.
Tibo provides optimum drilling machines for medical technology, oil and gas, shipbuilding, renewable energy, automotive and vehicle construction, aerospace, hydraulics and pneumatic components, and semi-finished products.
Also on display will be Amsaw® systems that are specifically designed for the faster cutting speeds, longer tool life and enhanced precision of carbide saw technology that outperforms band saws in virtually every category. These systems use carbide or cermet tipped blades to provide fast, accurate cutting for ferrous and non-ferrous materials, bars or billets, rails, profiles, pipes and tubes:
- Pivot Saw (P Series). With fewer moving parts and simple yet rigid saw design, the P-Series is an economical saw solution requiring little maintenance. Featuring a closed-loop force flow, a low backlash gearbox, and a drive spindle mounted on heavy duty, pre-loaded bearings, the P-Series eliminates the need for expensive slides which require constant lubrication to avoid wear.
- Slide Saw (S Series). Available with horizontal, vertical, or angular head feed arrangements, this heavy and rigid design features a base that is filled with absorbing compound to drastically reduce vibration. The gearbox slide is lined with low friction, vibration absorbing liners which minimize the slip/stick affect while guiding on large, hardened box-ways.
- Vertical Saw (V Series) The Amsaw V-Series is specifically designed for high production, extremely efficient cutting that is capable of layer sawing multiple bars, plates, pipes, tubes, or profiles in one cut. The V-Series can cut material sizes from 25 mm to 250 mm and layer widths from 600 mm to 1,300 mm.
Also on display will be AMROCK® Centering Dovetail Vices that use a patented dovetail workholding design for stress free clamping, balanced load dispersion and centering accuracy to ±.0005 in. They locate and mount on 2 in grids to make five-sided machining of parts possible, and are available in jaw heights of .125 in, .250 in, and .375 in, with 15 deg and 30 deg dovetail jaw angles.
