Niagara Cutter Expands Offices

Niagara Cutter, LLC (Reynoldsville, PA), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Seco Tools (Troy, MI), recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony for their newly remodeled offices in Reynoldsville, located at 150 South 5th Street. This renovation doubles the size of the office space, positions the company for growth, and provides enhanced training opportunities for customers.

With nearly 4,500 sq ft of office space, the facility now comfortably accommodates 50 office employees to support customer needs for high-end round tooling. The open, Scandinavian-style office also includes four new conference rooms, three of which can be converted into an auditorium, enabling the company to hold education and training classes for up to 50 customers.

During the ceremony tours were given to those in attendance. Event attendees included Rob Keenan, the president of Seco North America; David Mrdjenovic, the director of operations, Seco North America; Robert Grieve, the president of Hallstrom Construction; Silvia Wenden, the project manager, Seco North America; and Congressman Glenn Thompson, representing Pennsylvania’s 5th District.

As the only round tool manufacturer in North America for Seco, Niagara Cutter produces standard and special order solid-carbide, high-speed steel and diamond-coated end mills, as well as solid carbide multi-purpose thread milling solutions. All manufacturing operations, from grinding to heat treating and coating, are completed in-house to ensure the highest quality of finished tools. In addition to manufacturing Niagara products, the facility also supports other Seco product lines as well, including the production of Feedmax drills.
