In Booth C-51066, Hedson Technologies North America, Inc. (Oakville, ON) will feature its IR-Booster. The infrared IR-Booster easily retrofits onto convection and drying ovens in all types of wet and dry conveyor processes and increases goods temperature to improve process effectivity. IR-technique often leads to both increased production rate and reduced energy consumption. In some cases, the IR-Booster can be configured to completely cure the goods from inside and out, taking approximately one minute up to 180 deg C, plus approximately 3 minutes holding time. The IR-Booster helps the conveyor industry maintain control of curing and production flow in powder coating lines.

No pre-heating of emitters is necessary. The IR-technique startup is instant. An IR-Booster does not take up much space, and the modular units can easily retrofit onto existing ovens. The IR-Booster melts the powder before entry into the oven, avoiding contamination of powders inside. According to the manufacturer, investing in the IR-Booster can increase production rate almost 20 percent.
