Advanced High Speed Plasma Cutting Systems

In Booth C-33085, Messer Cutting Systems, Inc. (Menomonee Falls, WI), a leading manufacturer of oxyfuel, plasma, and fiber laser cutting machines and sponsor of the FABTECH Bistro, will display their MetalMaster Xcel, the fastest plasma cutting machine on the market. It will perform live HPR400XD plasma bevel cutting and PinStamp® marking, featuring its fiber laser cutting head and digital camera. The Xcel provides a faster, more accurate way of producing precision cut parts at high speeds and cut quality. With state-of-the-art, industry-leading traverse speeds of 3,000 ipm, a robust design and high acceleration drives, the Xcel has been increasing production for many metal cutting industries.

Three new products will be showcased. The MetalMaster 2.0 is a compact 5 ft x 10 ft unitized cutting machine and table that features a Powermax 125® plasma torch for straight plasma cutting that provides superior cut performance at a low cost. Messer is also unveiling the new MetalMaster Evolution unitized cutting machine with The Slagger®. This machine features a HPR400XD plasma system to power a new compact plasma Bevel-R Rotator that is designed to meet the needs of the modern fabrication shop and save costly secondary operations. This high speed plasma beveller can cut up to ±45 deg.
