In Booth C-42037, Fladder-Hansen & Hundebol, Inc. (Atlanta, GA), a maker of finishing machines for the metalworking industry, will display their Fladder® 200/GYRO automatic deburring machine that features a powerful gearhead mounted with six cone spindles on which different kinds of spindles can be used. The spindles are in pairs counter rotating while the complete gearhead is performing an oscillating and rotating movement over the work piece’s surface. This ensures a uniform finishing of the work pieces as well as the abrasive tools. The central head carrying the tools is an extremely strong and compact unit. According to the manufacturer, the gearhead is mounted in a unique scissor-type suspension system. A powerful vacuum system safely holds even small work pieces safely during the process. The width of the vacuum belt is 1,000 mm. The control panel, including a touchscreen, ensures an easy and manageable operation of the machine.

The 200/GYRO’s powder-coated machine body is built with strong shields offering a view of the process through the large windows. As an option, the vacuum motor can be controlled by a frequency inverter. When processing large pieces, the vacuum effect can then be set to only the half and thereby save energy. As standard, the system’s additional motors are controlled by frequency inverters. Another optional feature is an energy saving system, a laser beam that detects the flow of work pieces in the machine. If the flow of work pieces stops, the machine will stepwise be shut down. This saves energy and reduces unnecessary wear of the tools and the machine.
