MC Machinery Systems, Inc. (Wood Dale, IL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corp., has hired Jason LeGrand as a laser automation specialist. In this newly created position, LeGrand will work within their sales arm and organize product offerings and sales tools as an automation expert.

LeGrand steps into the position with extensive industry experience. Most recently he served as a divisional technology manager at O’Neal Manufacturing Services, a current MC Machinery customer. MC Machinery’s team was impressed with his aggressive promotion of the company’s thermal cutting process improvements, including synchronizing business initiatives across multiple locations. His employment record outside of O’Neal is comprised of management positions with a variety of companies, including Cincinnati Incorporated in Ohio; Cincinnati Laser Cutting, LLC in Ohio and Air Liquide U.S., LP in Texas.

“We’re excited to welcome Jason to our laser and fabrication team,” says Shane Herendeen, the North American fabrication sales manager. “His extensive knowledge of laser and automation will benefit our company and customers improving process flow and successfully implement changes that impact our customers’ bottom lines.”

His extensive knowledge of laser and automation processes demonstrates his ability to drive sales. As a previous MC Machinery customer, LeGrand says he is excited to join what he describes as a vibrant, forward-thinking company. “My entire career has been preparing me for this opportunity. I’m very excited to now be a part of such a dynamic and winning team,” says LeGrand. “I’ve spent my career working with every make and model of industrial laser and automation. It’s a wonderful thing to find a home with a company I can absolutely state makes the best products in the industry.”
