In Booth N-6105, Saar-Hartmetall USA, LLC (Covington, KY) will display their upgraded SMA30E hand-held beveling tool that features a more powerful motor and new milling head design. Saar-Hartmetall USA offers a full line of beveling tools, tube scarfing tools, bar and wire peeling tools, and a variety of cutting tools used in metal fabrication and the tube and pipe industry. The SMA30E is a compliment tool to their complete line of electric and pneumatic portable beveling tools. It features a new milling head design that utilizes dice-shaped inserts that now have eight cutting edges instead of the typical four cutting edges for a more efficient and cost-effective beveling process. The new milling head design also allows for easier and quicker change of the milling head. This lightweight, ergonomically-designed tool can produce straight and radius bevels up to 3/8 in at 30 deg, 45 deg and 60 deg. The new SMA30E model is outfitted with an improved, more powerful 1,700 watt motor.
“We are constantly looking for ways to improve our product line and to provide our customers with the tools they need to make their jobs easier,” said Iwan Antonow, the executive vice president of Saar-Hartmetall USA. “This new and improved SMA30E hand-held beveling tool is a great addition to our extensive line of portable, stationary, and high performance beveling tools and machines.”
