In Booth C-24095, Cosen Saws (Charlotte, NC), a manufacturer of numerous lines of band saws, will feature several models, including its VCS-600 (vertical contour band saw), SH-500M (semi-automatic mitering horizontal pivot band saw) and C-510MNC (automatic mitering horizontal pivot band saw). The company will also unveil the AV2026NC, an automatic dual mitering vertical tilt frame band saw that features automatic angle positioning, adjustable blade cant up to 5 deg, inverter-controlled blade speed, integral coolant system, versatile double miter-cutting up to 60 deg, hydraulic blade tension controller and many other options.

Cosen will also showcase new technology with the CPC SmartSaw monitoring system (pre-installed on the G320 automatic horizontal column band saw), a proprietary cloud-based technology that reveals sawing performance data in real time. This software can monitor the blade life and accurately predict blade breakage, along with many other cost-saving features via its mobile app. According to the manufacturer, SmartSaw technology allows users to make informed decisions proactively, preventing unwanted waste or down-time.
