NASG Mexico Installs New Press Feeding Line
The new line from COE feeds presses making stamped parts used in welded assemblies for automotive applications and other industries.

COE Press Equipment Corporation (Sterling Heights, MI) announced that they have recently installed a new press feeding line in the Queretaro, Mexico facility of North American Stamping Group, LLC (NASG; Portland, TN) that produces stamped parts and welded assemblies for automotive applications and other industries. This system joins over ten other COE lines already installed at various NASG locations.
This 72 in line can process coil from 0.040 in to 0.325 in thick material depending upon the width and steel strength. It features a 72 in servo roll feed with a ServoMaster Touch controller, a 72 in x 14 ft dual threading table with a roller top and a 50,000 lb capacity coil reel. The line also includes a COE 406 power straightener that features ultrasonic variable speed loop control with a 3 position selector switch. The system also comes with perimeter guarding and safety controls. COE provided installation, startup and training for the lines.
