Yaskawa Mexico Hires General Manager
Germán Villalobos is responsible for the company’s strategic direction and sales growth in Mexico.

Yaskawa Motoman (Dayton, OH), is pleased to announce that Germán Villalobos has joined the company as the general manager of Yaskawa Mexico, responsible for the company’s strategic direction and sales growth in Mexico. He is also responsible for the operation of their three facilities located there in Aguascalientes, Apodaca and Queretaro.
Villalobos brings nearly two decades of experience in industrial robotics to his new position. Most recently, he was the head of robotics for Comau located in Mexico City, a leader in manufacturing flexible, automatic systems and integrating products, where he oversaw sales, marketing and other operations for the company. Prior to that, he held leadership positions with other automation companies, including Kuka and Nordson. Villalobos earned his Master of Business Administration from the EGADE Business School (Monterrey, Mexico) in 2009. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Robotics Engineering from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN).
