Razor Tool, Inc. (Woburn, MA), a KOMET SERVICE® Partner, is delighted to announce the grand opening of their new facility in Woburn that provides ample space for their state-of-the-art 5-axis tool and cutter grinding machinery. Everyone is invited to attend the grand opening ceremony on Wednesday, June 8, starting at 3:00 pm. Attendees will be able to see their capabilities firsthand through live tool demos and tool displays. Also, a tour of the new facilities will take place while enjoying a cocktail reception

“We are very excited for them to be moving into a new, larger building and we look forward to having the facility on full display during the grand opening,” stated Tom Whennen, the manager of KOMET of America, Inc. (Schaumburg, IL). “The move to a new facility will take us to the next level and that, in turn, will make for an even better customer experience, which is what both our companies strive for each and every day.”

Razor Tool was established in eastern Massachusetts in 2012 to serve local machine shops. They know that in an area of strong competition, price, quality, and delivery alone are not enough to maintain growth. For this reason, they place special emphasis on broad service that extends beyond specials, regrinds, and high performance standard cutting tools. They also offer high-precision five-axis machining that creates more opportunities to help shops with their most challenging projects.

They are the tenth KOMET SERVICE partner, having joined the network in May 2015, and share a commitment to quality service and fast, reliable refurbishment of solid carbide tools. Utilizing state-of-the-art CNC equipment to grind cutting tools of the highest quality, along with a focused, service-based strategy, they have quickly cultivated and maintained a strong base of repeat customers that continues to grow.
