Abtex Hires New Operations Manager

Experiencing dramatic growth in all lines of business, Abtex Corporation (Dresden, NY) has hired Christian Donovan as their new operations manager. He brings a long record of achievement in manufacturing, most recently as principal manufacturing engineer at TRW Automotive (Auburn, NY), and has been involved in equipment manufacturing since his honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy in 2000, holding roles of increasing responsibility in test, process and production engineering and management.

Donovan holds an MBA from the University of Rochester’s Simon Graduate School of Busines.

Since 1980, Abtex has been providing integrated brush/machine deburring solutions to the North American manufacturing industry, including filament brushes and custom-designed deburring machines for a wide variety of machined-part, aluminum-extrusion, fine-blanked, and powdered-metal applications. Customers include manufacturers such as automotive Tier 2 and Tier 3 parts producers.
