Vero Software Ltd. (Gloucestershire, UK) is pleased to announce the appointment of Lee Richards to the position of the technical manager of the Americas, a role in which he will oversee the technical teams for the Edgecam and Surfcam brands.
The company’s growing technical support teams provide technical support, training, custom-programming and post processor writing services for thousands of customers and a robust reseller channel in the Americas. With the addition of Richards, Vero is poised to extend and improve its services for a growing customer base.
“I am extremely proud to be moving into my new role as technical manager of the Americas,” stated Richards. “Since becoming part of the Hexagon team, Vero has seen a significant change in how we use technology within the group. Working with our technical teams, I am excited to be a part of that which will ultimately give our customers a better user experience with our products.”
In his new role, he will be working closely with the two technical teams to provide support to Vero’s direct sales teams, as well as to resellers and customers in the Americas.
Since joining the company in 2007, Richards has filled a variety of technical roles for the Edgecam brand. From 2012 to late 2015, he served as pre-sales manager, a position in which he supported Vero’s direct sales channel in the UK, as well as its Europe, Middle East and African (EMEA) account managers.
Headquartered in England, Vero Software designs, develops, and supplies CAD/CAM/CAE software radically enhancing the efficiency of design and manufacturing processes, providing its customers with exceptional value through high productivity gains and significantly reducing time to market.

Despite the diversity of application, these solutions have one thing in common: they all address the rising challenges of achieving manufacturing efficiencies and bring huge value to the operations in which they are deployed.
