Record Sales at Concept Laser
Sales of their additive manufacturing machines increased by 54 percent.

Concept Laser GmbH (Lichtenfels, Germany) reported a 54 percent increase in sales for the past year through a 46 percent increase in the number of machines sold, which increased from 110 systems to 161 systems, bringing a total of more than 550 laser melting machines installed by the company around the world.
“We are very proud that we have managed to further expand the growth of the previous year,” said Oliver Edelmann, the vice president of global sales and marketing. “This shows that we continue to follow the right path. But anybody that knows our company knows that the passion for the technology and the strong drive for innovation will not allow us to rest on our laurels.”
The record sales of powder-bed-based laser melting machines was also reflected in their number of employees, which rose by 67 percent, from 103 to 172. This included growth in the U.S. market that enabled Concept Laser Inc. (Grapevine, TX) to increase its workforce to 17 employees.
