The Independent Welding Distributors Cooperative (IWDC; Indianapolis, IN) is pleased to announce that Keith Werkley will join the them as the director of vendor management and supply chain. In this role, he will be responsible for driving profitable growth of key programs: their vendor partner brands, the Weldmark® brand, and their warehouse and importing operations.
Most recently Werkley served as the district sales manager and tig specialist for Techniweld USA. He previously spent nine years in positions of increasing responsibility at ITW’s Weldcraft/Miller Electric line of business. Prior to ITW, he was with Jackson Products as their district sales manager. He and his wife Libby reside in the Indianapolis area.
The IWDC is a cooperative that was formed in 1994 to leverage the strengths of its independent welding distributor members across North America. The Member companies collectively represent over $2.2 billion in sales, serving a wide range of industries. The common denominator is that these industries look to them for industrial, specialty, and medical gases as well as related equipment, hard goods, and consumables. End-use customers served by their Members benefit from having the unparalleled expertise of a local Member distributor who has access to national-scale purchasing and marketing programs.
