The new Dynasty 210 welder from Miller Electric uses Auto-Line power management technology that allows the machine to connect to almost any type of available input power and produce a steady, high quality arc. Operators can work safer and faster in more places, up to 300 ft away from the power source with the hand control, while maintaining consistently high-quality welds. Eliminating cord tangles or failures increases time, saves money, and helps improve overall weld quality at the weld joint.
The DC TIG/stick-capable Maxstar 210 STR welds up to ¼ in steel in a single pass as a portable power source that weighs 50 lb or less and is easy to carry. Its digital meters and dual welding memories ensure faster and more consistent process setup, and it uses exclusive Pro-Set technology to eliminate guesswork by providing pre-set welding parameters.
A reliable and economical choice for home hobbyists and light fabricators, the new Spoolmate 150 air-cooled pistol-grip spool gun from Miller Electric provides 20 ft of cable reach and accessibility. It uses a dual V-knurled drive roll for smooth, consistent feeding of 4000 and 5000 series aluminum wire and adjustable drive roll tension for feeding different types of wire.
With improved portability, ease-of-use and arc performance, the newly redesigned Millermatic 211 all-in-one MIG welder from Miller Electric is ideal for light fabrication, maintenance and repair, auto body and farm and home applications. The 38 lb unit has the highest output in its class and can weld from 24 ga to 3/8 in mild steel in a single pass on 230V.
The new Digital Infinity Series welding helmets from Miller Electric feature a 13.4 sq viewing area – the largest in the industry. This headgear has an oversized comfort cushion and uses Info-Track lens to track and display arc time and allow the operator to set time, alarm and timer from a multi-language help menu. There four arc sensors and four modes: weld, cut, grind, and X-Mode that prevents sunlight from darkening the lens before welding starts and low-amperage lens opening from obstructed sensors.

Building on a long legacy of dependable TIG welding solutions, the new Dynasty® 210 and Maxstar® 210 welders released by Miller Electric Mfg. Co. (Appleton, WI) deliver up to 210 amps of output power and exceptional TIG and stick performance in easy-to-use, versatile and portable packages that also allow for upgrade flexibility. Replacing the Dynasty 200 model, the Dynasty 210 power source is AC/DC TIG/stick-capable and welds up to ¼ in steel and aluminum in a single pass. The DC TIG/stick-capable Maxstar 210 (which replaces the recent Maxstar 200 model) welds up to ¼ in steel in a single pass. Offering class-leading portability, each stand-alone power source weighs 50 lb or less and features dual carry handles and a carrying strap for easy transport.

Base models of the new power sources provide operator-friendly, menu-driven features and improve performance on low-amperage applications. The Maxstar 210 STR model now features digital meters and dual welding memories for faster and more consistent process setup. The Dynasty DX model offers full AC features including advanced waveforms, along with wide ranges for balance and frequency to improve performance on aluminum. Designed for fast and easy upgrade flexibility, the models now include a front-panel memory card data port, allowing for the download of software updates from MillerWelds.com/tigsoftware and the purchase of product feature expansions. By offering access to the most up-to-date software, the new memory card data port helps owners maximize their budgets and gain the best performance over a longer period of time.

All models now come standard with an easy-to-reach standby power switch on the front of the unit, which is capable of placing the machine into a sleep mode when not in use. Each model also features the exclusive Pro-Set™ technology to enhance ease-of-use and eliminate guesswork by providing pre-set welding parameters. Standard on Dynasty water-cooled packages, a cooler power supply (CPS) is an integrated 120 V, dedicated-use receptacle designed to power the Coolmate™ 1.3. A power switch on the machine activates the receptacle to reduce the chance of torch failure. The new Cooler-On-Demand™ operates the cooling system only when needed — reducing noise, energy use and airborne contaminants pulled through the cooler. “The operator-friendly interface and pre-set weld parameters provided by Pro-Set make the machine faster to set up and easy to use. By reducing the guesswork with a machine built for speed, convenience and results, operators can focus more on the welding,” said Andrew Pfaller, a TIG product manager for Miller Electric.

Auto-Line™ power management technology provides added convenience by allowing the machine to connect to almost any type of available input power and produces a steady, high quality arc. Welding operators can now work in more places while maintaining a steady welding output for consistently high-quality welds. Following the trend of previous Dynasty and Maxstar models, these new models are also fully compatible with wireless remote control solutions: operators can work safer and faster up to 300 ft away (with hand control) from the power source. The elimination of cord tangles or failures helps increase time and money savings, and precise operator control at the weld joint further improves overall weld quality.

Miller Electric also introduces the new Spoolmate™ 150 air-cooled pistol-grip spool gun, a reliable and economical choice for home hobbyists and light fabricators that provides 20 ft of cable reach and accessibility. It also offers smooth feeding of 4000 and 5000 series aluminum wire. This spool gun is compatible with several Miller power sources, including Millermatic® 211 models as well as the Multimatic™ 200, Syncrowave® 210 and Syncrowave 210 TIG/MIG Complete. The Spoolmate 150 features a dual V-knurled drive roll for consistent feeding and adjustable drive roll tension for feeding different types of wire. An adjustable pressure lever allows for easy loading and unloading of wire. Users can easily see the amount of wire left before it runs out thanks to a clear spool cover. The spool gun also features a heavy-duty drive motor and cast aluminum gearbox.

Miller Electric also offers the newly redesigned Millermatic 211 all-in-one MIG welder (which replaces the previous Millermatic 211 Auto-Set™ with MVP™ model) that is built for light fabrication, maintenance and repair, auto body and farm and home applications. This welder offers even more convenience, quality and reliability through improved portability, ease-of-use and arc performance. It also offers an improved duty cycle and welds material from 24 ga to 3/8 in thick (0.8 mm to 9.5 mm) in a single pass — the highest output in its class.

Advanced Auto-Set capabilities allow the user to select from five different wire and gas combinations and .024 in wire capability, making setup even easier than before. Infinite voltage control provides the flexibility to manually set welding parameters, if desired. The exclusive Multi-Voltage Plug (MVP) allows operators to weld in more places by simply choosing the plug that fits a 120V or 240V power receptacle and connecting it to the power cord. No tools are required. With a new triple-handle design and a nearly 50 percent weight reduction to just 38 lb, this inverter-based model delivers a lighter, easier to move machine and a faster-reacting arc that’s more forgiving to variations in travel speed and length.

“Normally, I use a three-phase Miller CP-200 and wouldn’t give it up, until I tried this new Millermatic 211. It’s got an incredibly smooth arc,” said Billy Simpson, a chassis fabricator at Hendrick Motorsports (Charlotte, NC). “Basically, I like everything about it.”

Ease-of-use is enhanced further through other innovative features. A new angled aluminum wire drive uses an updated motor in an all-aluminum housing to support longer torch options and deliver smoother wire feeding for better welds. The Quick Select™ drive roll makes setup quick and easy by offering three grooves — two for different size solid wire and a third for flux-cored wire. The Auto Spool Gun Detect™ automatically detects when a Miller Spoolmate 100 or new Spoolmate 150 is connected, eliminating the need to install a spool gun switch. The Fan-On-Demand™ cooling system operates only when needed, reducing noise, energy use and amount of contaminants pulled through the machine.

Miller Electric has also released their all new Digital Infinity™ Series welding helmets that feature the largest viewing area in the industry and include the following features:

  • 13.4 sq in viewing area with wide screen format provides unsurpassed view and eliminates tunnel vision.
  • New headgear with oversized comfort cushion provides extensive adjustability, settings, and improved support for better fit and comfort.
  • Integration of Info-Track™ lens technology tracks and displays arc time; allows operator to set time, alarm and timer; and offers a multi-language help menu.
