Rick Weisbarth has joined TYKMA Electrox™, Inc. (Chillicothe, OH) as their vice president of sales in the Americas. He brings a strong foundation to the company, beginning with eight years of service in the United States Air Force, with studies in business and electronics. Weisbarth has more than 27 years of experience in sales and service, with a focus in the photonics industry. Previously, he held positions at Lumonics (currently GSI Group), SPI Lasers, and most recently Laserdyne.
“The momentum created from the TYKMA Electrox merger, coupled with the already outstanding reputation of the TYKMA product line in North America, made this an ideal opportunity to be part of something quite exciting,” said Weisbarth. “The leadership and vision of David Grimes and the team he has assembled throughout the years is top notch. We are ideally positioned with great global channel partners, an incredibly versatile merged product line, a brand new facility fully equipped with one of the best application labs and staff in the industry, and 24/7, 365 service and support. We not only have a huge potential for growth . . . we are living it. I would invite anyone that is considering a laser marking product purchase to challenge us to live up to their expectation.”
“We are thrilled to have Rick as the newest member of our team,” noted Rich Reilly, the global sales director for the company. “Rick’s leadership, combined with his strong technical foundation, will enhance our focus on continued growth in the North American market. Our customers and clients will be well served by his presence in our organization.”
In conjunction with the hire of Weisbarth, the company has recently unveiled their new corporate branding and identity and are now operating globally as one company. With more than 55 years combined history in the industrial laser systems market, TYKMA Electrox is a world leader in laser systems for marking, etching, and engraving. With headquarters in Chillicothe, facilities in Letchworth Garden City, England, UK, and a growing global distributor base, the company is focused on superior service for our customers and the expanding worldwide industrial laser market.
