COE Press Equipment Corporation (Sterling Heights, MI) announced that it is supplying nine new coil processing lines to Goodman Manufacturing Company, LP (Houston, TX), a provider of air conditioning and heating equipment. Seven of the lines are comprised of COE standard motorized uncoilers, feeds, and pull-through straighteners in widths of 30 in, 48 in or 60 in. The other two lines consist of Goodman-specific features and are designed to handle light gauge material.
The first line was shipped in November of 2015 and the rest of the lines will be shipped from March through July of 2016. All of the equipment is being installed to feed new press lines at a 4,000,000 sq ft greenfield manufacturing and logistics campus located outside of Houston in Nevada, TX. This facility, identified as the Comfortplex built by the Daikin Group, (Osaka, Japan) the world’s largest manufacturer of HVAC products and systems and Goodman’s parent company, will consolidate existing company operations from both Tennessee and Texas.
COE, celebrating 40 years in business this year, designs and manufactures a complete line of premiere coil handling and servo roll feed equipment from stand-alone roll feeds, straighteners, reels and cradles to complete integrated feed systems and cut-to-length lines. The company supplies and services a wide variety of global markets and industries including automotive, appliance, lighting, metal processing, housewares, lawn and garden, contract stampers, tool and die builders, and many others.
