JOBOX, a premier storage solutions brand from Apex Tool Group, LLC (Sparks, MD) one of the largest hand tool manufacturers in the world, offers its new line of safety cabinets and cans with superior fire resistance for the industrial sector. The new JOBOX cabinets take fire safety to a new level by combining fire resistance with exceptional safety, durability and security. The JOBOX Flammable Liquid Storage Cabinets went through rigorous testing and are one of the few flammable storage cabinets to earn the respected UL Listing. Their double wall construction, durable powder-coat paint, and 2.5 in thick doors, which are ¾ in thicker than comparable cabinets, uphold the brand’s reputation for durability.

This new line of cabinets includes the patent-pending EZ Level Bolster System that allows end users to level cabinets without blindly searching underneath to achieve the proper adjustment. The shape of the bolsters also aids in tip prevention and gives the user the freedom to quickly and easily move the cabinet with the aid of a forklift or pallet jack. The EZ Level Bolster System makes leveling simple and safe. The anti-tip feature extends the base footprint beyond the width of the cabinet for improved stability and resistance to tipping. Environmental health and safety managers know that plant personnel are frustrated by the time-consuming process of leveling cabinets. “Our EZ Level Bolster System takes the guesswork out of safely leveling cabinets,” said Jason Wirth, the JOBOX product manager. “End users no longer have to tip the cabinet back to access the leveling screws. This innovative feature is important because if a cabinet isn’t level it can affect its safety performance in the event of a spill.”

Another common frustration among shops is misplacing or discarding important product information or manuals. JOBOX Flammable Liquid Storage Cabinets feature prominently displayed Hi-Viz Safety Information labels that provide a permanent reminder and reference for users to follow safety and usage practices. The bright white interiors offer maximum visibility in low light conditions that are common in industrial settings, allowing users to quickly and safely identify cabinet contents. The cabinets have exceptional safety features, including:

  • Thicker, more robust doors, providing a 2.5 in insulation gap between metal panels for added durability and safety.
  • Continuous staked piano hinges further enhancing durability and security.
  • Ultra-heavy duty, fully enclosed staggering mechanisms assuring doors close in the correct sequence, providing an adequate seal on the self-closing models.
  • Slanted shelves that guide spills safely to the rear, funneling any liquids into a two-inch deep leak-proof sump in the base of the cabinet.

The line includes 12 gal, 30 gal, 45 gal, 60 gal, and 90 gal sizes of JOBOX Flammable Liquid Storage Cabinets to meet varying end user needs.  In addition, JOBOX now offers Type I and Type II Cans for flammable liquids. The cans provide safer storing and pouring of flammable liquids.

JOBOX is a premier on-site storage, flammable liquid storage, and truck storage solutions brand that has become synonymous with outstanding product quality, durability, and innovative rugged, dependable and secure storage products for demanding commercial, industrial and construction requirements.
