Dynabrade Appoints New President

Dynabrade, Inc. (Clarence, NY), the U.S. manufacturer of industrial abrasive power tools, has announced that effective February 29, 2016, Ned T. Librock will retire as the company president. Librock joined the company in 2006 as the director of marketing, and was appointed the president in 2011. Previously he was the vice president of sales and marketing for Columbus McKinnon.

Librock stated, “I’ve had an extremely rewarding career of 35 years in the industry, and feel fortunate and humble to retire from such a fine organization. The company has a vision for the future, dedicated long-term global employees, a strong senior management team and most importantly, loyal customers who like doing business with us!”

He will remain with the company in the new role of the president emeritus and the advisor to the board of directors.

Assuming the title of the president will be Hardy Hamann, who joined the team in 2015 as the vice president of sales and marketing. He has held executive positions with Walter Mayer (now JPW), Hermes Abrasives and The L.S. Starrett Company.

Hamann stated, “I’m honored to assume the role of the company president. I’ve known for many years that Dynabrade is a recognized leader in the abrasive power tool industry. Within days of joining the company, the reasons were obvious. Our people are easy to do business with and committed to delighting the customer.
