Able Machine Tool is New England Distributor for AIMS

Able Machine Tool Sales Inc. (Agawam, MA) is now the New England distributor for Revolution series coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) manufactured by Advanced Industrial Measurement Systems (AIMS; Miamisburg, OH). Designed and engineered with Renishaw 5-axis measurement technology, AIMS introduced its new product line in 2015.

Able is a 30-year-old full service machine tool and metrology sales company. Alan Lockery, the president of the company, says the partnership with AIMS was mutual: “We have a history with them and they were looking for a distributor that fit their business model. We represent CMM technology and we are a Renishaw representative. It was a good match for both companies.”

Able has a “go to” reputation for sales, service support, turnkey solutions and training. “Customer support is our primary focus,” adds Lockery. “It’s not just about selling and servicing equipment. Our goal is to be proactive about creating solutions that solve customers’ problems.”
