WARDJet Stays Busy
Four different customers simultaneously build unique waterjets on their production floor.

WARDJet (Tallmadge, OH) just wrapped up a week of coordinating four customers on their production floor, simultaneously building their unique WARDKit waterjets. While their businesses couldn’t be more different, what these four companies found out when talking about their decision to add these waterjets was strikingly similar.
TredWear (Columbiana, AL) came to build a WARDKit 5×10 with two heads for use in creating custom tire graphics from raised rubber. Gearheads and car enthusiasts alike can agree that tires are a major accessory with limited customization opportunities. The company fills that void by offering raised white letter kits to turn any black wall tire into a custom feature of your sports car, motorcycle, or ATV. By using their waterjet system to bring production in-house, this will shorten lead times and eliminate the need to ‘bulk order.’ They also plan to offer job shop cutting to other businesses in their region when their system is not tied up cutting tire graphics.
Park Plus (Fairview, NJ) was there to build a waterjet with a single abrasive head for use in cutting aluminum, steel, and other materials necessary to build high density parking structures. Often seen in big cities, like Manhattan, Miami, and Los Angeles, the high density parking structures built by them are impressive, functional and state-of-the-art. Their waterjet will be cutting components that they previously sourced from across the globe. Having this waterjet will allow them to internally handle production and eliminate quality control concerns.
JHE Production (Charlotte, NC) came to build their waterjet system for use in fabricating event production. They specialize in live shows, special events, and corporate meetings, coordinating events for a lot of big name companies like NASCAR, Lowes, and Fox Sports. They plan to use their new system to cut everything they use to construct events, from foam, to aluminum, to signage. Bringing production in-house was a big motivator for them and it will allow them a lot more flexibility when organizing future events for customers. The Waterjet kit’s versatility was also attractive to their team, as they can cut nearly everything on their new waterjet cutting system.
Daylen Solutions (Pittsburg, PA) was also on hand to build their machine as part of the KITributor program. They will be offering pre-assembled, fully-supported 2x2s, 5x5s, and 5x10s to anyone in the market for a waterjet, for less than a standard assembled system. Their goal is to bring manufacturers the technology, equipment, and technical support necessary to increase productivity through machinery and automation. They recognized the quality and value of the system and know that it will be very attractive to their customers. Along with these waterjets, the company offers press brakes, shears, punch presses and laser cutters.
By electing to travel to WARDJet headquarters to build their machine with the pros, these four customers are now experts on operating and servicing their new waterjet systems. With each customer coming from a different part of the country, working in different industries, and using their system for different applications, the broad appeal of these waterjet cutting systems has never been more apparent.
