In Booth S-3381, Samco Machinery Ltd. (Toronto, ON) will display videos and a variety of samples of products produced by their roll formers, including their new continuous and high-performance Bridge Decking Roll Forming Line with a post-cut operation. All four profiles (2 in, 2-1/2 in, 3 in, 4 in) are roll formed, end formed in the press and cut-to-length, utilizing quick changeovers from one profile to the other using rafted tops (cassettes) with quick-coupling disconnects. Key features of this line include:

  • 20K single-ended uncoiler with coil car, hydraulically powered full time, driven with mandrel expansion.
  • Hydraulically powered Up/Down threading table to assist in threading raw materials into the system.
  • Length control system helps operator set length and quantity.
  • 28 pass rafted roll former with gear box drive at every station.
  • Stationary hydraulic cut-off press, suitable for “stop-and-go” cut and form operation.
  • 20 ft non-powered run-out roller exit conveyor pushed completed parts out.
