In Booth S-3301, Heck Industries Inc. (Hartland, MI) has added a new weight machine to their line of beveling equipment. The new Model 9000 Bevel-Mill produces bevels up to 1.1875 in. Ideal for weld preparation beveling, the unit uses standard carbide inserts in a milling cutter for beveling most machinable materials, including mild steel, aluminum and stainless steel. The machine is self-supporting on the work piece and is hand-fed by the operator along the edge of the plate at up to 6 fpm. The Bevel-Mill also features variable angle adjustments from 15 deg to 45 deg.
