Ohio Laser Installs New Tube Laser Cutting Capabilities
Their TRUMPF TruLaser Tube 5000 dramatically shortens their delivery lead times to customers.

Ohio Laser LLC (Plain City, OH) has recently installed the newest TRUMPF Tube Laser Machine technology, the TruLaser Tube 5000, to maximize their customer response time. With the new system’s capability to combine various machining activities such as tube part sawing, drilling, milling, and punching into one machine and manufacturing process, the shop can now expedite customer delivery and dramatically shorten lead times for high quality parts.
According to a company spokesman at Ohio Laser, “Thanks to the seamless interaction between the machine’s control and its programming systems, we can now effortlessly turn a drawing into a finished part quickly and efficiently. In addition, using this automated all-around tube laser solution enables us to take the next logical step in optimizing our vendor-managed inventory and plant workflow to meet our growing customer list and their just-in-time demands.” The TruLaser 5000 adds to the shop’s numerous TRUMPF laser machines for parts cutting and assemblies from tube, sheet and plate.
