In Booth S-3114, JMT USA (Salt Lake City, UT), a provider of quality machine tools to the metal fabrication industry, will introduce a new fiber laser to the U.S. market. “Our new fiber laser offers the user many advantages in both ease of operation and maintenance,” says Johntana Messer, a JMT laser sales engineer. “We listened to what customers wanted and incorporated those features into the new design. Our new laser integrates an automated material handling system to simplify workflow for the user. Our design uses a Precitec Procutter head with a double enclosure that protects the optical lenses from contaminants, which improves performance, reduces maintenance and extends the lifetime of the laser. We’ve also partnered with Lantek software to provide a CAD/CAM program that is powerful but very easy to use.”
JMT will give cutting demonstrations during the show on a 4 kW fiber laser. The company is also offering to do free time studies if customers provide their part drawings. Information on how to participate in the times study is available by clicking here. In addition to the fiber laser, the company will also demonstrate its press brakes, plate rolls, angle rolls, band saws and ironworkers
JMT is a division of Jorgenson Industrial Companies, a family owned and operated company that has been in business providing “strong customer service” since 1967. The company serves markets in machine tools, material handling, lockers and shelving. It has facilities in Salt Lake City and Atlanta, GA.
