In Booth N-4064, the new Ercolina Top Bender 050 Plus model rotary draw tube and pipe bender from CML USA, Inc. Ercolina (Davenport, IA) is ideal for producing consistent quality bends in pipe, tube, squares, solids and other profiles. Its new easy-to-operate control eliminates difficult programming and allows the operator to store and produce desired bend angle in seconds. The Top Bender 050 Plus offers a large easy-to-read color-coded control which displays all current bend information in real time for greater convenience. A separate display of material spring back allowance is provided for greater accuracy on a variety of materials.
The bend angle can be adjusted accurately by degree any time throughout the bending cycle. The machine stops at the desired bend angle automatically to end the cycle. An operator can use the control panel or the included foot pedal to activate bend and return functions. The Top Bender 050 Plus offers generous capacity, from ¼ in to 2.5 in tube or 2 in Schedule 40 pipe. Ercolina tooling installs quickly and is available in multiple radii to produce quality bends. Money-saving pipe and tube tooling kits are available, with additional savings available when purchased with the machine. The classic Top Bender design reduces floor space requirement and easily stores to save shop floor space. Loading and unloading of the work piece is done easily with the swing away counter bend die. The efficient three-phase drive motor operates from any 220 V single phase power source. Powerful gear reduction operates quietly without need for hydraulics. The Top Bender 050 Plus model accepts Ercolina’s A40-P, which is ideal for repetitive parts, multiple and sequential bends, and left and right mirror images. When used with Super Bend-Tech SE software, fabricators can quickly layout and produce drawings for bending applications.

In Booth C-519, CML USA also introduces Scantool’s newest model 75CGC centerless belt grinder with coolant reservoir for wet grinding and polishing of tube and pipe. The new system incorporates a two-speed motor to better accommodate a variety of materials and tube with diameters ranging from ¾ in to 3 in. This system is ideal for removal of rust from the outside of tube or pipe, while creating a highly polished or brushed surface finish. The coolant system is quickly installed and effectively delivers coolant to the grinding area, maintaining a consistent finish on the tube while improving the belt life. Coolant is recaptured in the provided reservoir for easy maintenance.
The centerless grinder feed system adjusts quickly to each diameter and is easily directed to feed the tube from the left or right side of machine. The abrasive belts are quickly changed to accommodate the required tube finish without removing machine guards. The machine converts quickly to a stand-alone belt grinder with heavy duty rubber contact wheel or convenient top mounted grinding surface providing a consistent vibration free grinding surface for heavy material removal or simple part cleanup. All drive motors have low voltage controls with easy access to emergency stop and a five year warranty.
