CGW Hires New Plant Manager

Fred Brutsche now oversees plant operations, customer service, planning, purchasing and production.

CGW – Camel Grinding Wheels, Ltd. (Niles, IL) hired Fred Brutsche as its new plant manager. In his new role, Brutsche’s responsibilities include overseeing plant operations, customer service, planning, purchasing and production. With more than 25 years of manufacturing experience, he has held positions as a general manager, manufacturing manager and materials manager.

“We are excited to welcome someone with so much experience,” said Joe O’Mera, the president of CGW – Camel Grinding Wheels. “Fred aims to strengthen organization within our company, which will lead to increased efficiencies and cultural solidarity.”

Brutsche served four years of active duty in the U.S. Army and four years in the Army Reserves. During his military service, he was awarded the Soldier of the Month for V Corp three times, Soldier of the Quarter for V Corp twice and Soldier of the Year for V Corp once. Fred also holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from California State University. He is also a certified purchasing manager and production and inventory manager.

Brutsche currently lives in southern California. He has three daughters and is an accomplished hiker and tournament poker player.
