Moss holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Houston and has more than 25 years in the industry, combining a wide range of technical process knowledge, significant operations experience, continuous improvement techniques, and best-practices management skills. He specializes in producing quick, positive, bottom-line results by identifying and fixing process gaps and empowering employees to set records in speed, productivity, quality, and safety.
“I see this as an incredible opportunity to join a talented, energetic, customer-centric organization that has experienced substantial growth and is poised for more,” said Moss. “I look forward to leading the operations side of the business and helping us and our customers achieve their goals in any way I can.”
Moss was previously employed as a plant manager at Peerless Manufacturing Company where he led a team of 90 highly-specialized employees, including engineers, supervisors, planners, buyers, HR coordinators, fabricators and welders. His significant experience in issues relevant to manufacturing and operations management regarding customer service, sales and revenue enhancement, supply chain, human resources, policies and procedures, information systems, and general accounting practices will benefit Bluff Manufacturing as the company expands.
