“They have set our record books alight this year with significant growth month-to-month throughout the first half of the year. Demand for our industry-leading products and services remain very strong, culminating in May and June being the best months on record for Alphacam,” said Nick Spurrett, the general manager of Alphacam.
Alphacam 2015 R2 is a substantial release that introduces many new features which continue to improve customer productivity. One significant development is the move to 64-bit support which will unlock the full potential of the PC by maximizing the memory use, irrespective of part size. User efficiency continues to be a focus for product development with improvements to advanced 5-axis machining cycles, nesting functionality, and parent /child relationship support for multiple part management, with full associativity between the part master and its copy.
Major graphic enhancements include improved part rendering and a new customizable radial menu wheel providing instant access to the most commonly used commands. “The latest release of the software has been well received and the continued sales growth will ensure we continue to drive our research and development objectives,” noted Spurrett.
