For the second consecutive year, The Lincoln Electric Company (Cleveland, OH) has received recognition in multiple categories in the Business Marketing Association’s prestigious B2 Awards that recognize and honor business marketers for innovative global brand strategy, customer marketing strategy, integrated internal and external marketing communications strategy, e-business strategy, new media strategy, and successful new product and service introductions.
Lincoln Electric was the category winner of the Demand Generation, Multi-Channel Lead Gen, Large Enterprise category for the Power MIG® 210 MP product launch campaign. Work related to this campaign was also awarded two Excellence Awards in the categories of Print Advertising, Full Page/Single and Broadcast Advertising, Broadcast/Cable TV Spot.
“We are thrilled to accept these awards from the BMA, because the awards specifically recognize the contributions of business-to-business marketers, a unique category-within-a-category. They also have significant meaning because they are judged by marketing industry peers,” said Craig Coffey, the U.S. marketing communications manager. “We are very proud of the team that conceptualized and executed this campaign, top to bottom.”
Bruce Chantry, the director of marketing, North America, added, “The B2 Awards emphasize a project’s results in their judging criteria, which make them different and more significant than other awards. The launch of the Power MIG 210 MP is a great example of how solid strategy backed by great creative execution can deliver huge results for an organization. It’s become a model for many of our future efforts.”
